The second game was released worldwide on May 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before being ported to Microsoft Windows on October 2010. The first game was first released in Japan on December 21, 2006, before later being released outside Japan on January 12, 2007, it was originally intended to be an Xbox 360 exclusive but it was later ported to other platforms such as Microsoft Windows on June 2007 and PlayStation 3 on February 2008. The series consists of three installments, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Lost Planet 2 and Lost Planet 3.
The Lost Planet video game series was developed and published by Capcom.
